Del Mar Water Wise Turf Conversion
Our client had a underused side yard strip of turf with intense sun and wind exposure that she wanted to convert to a water wise landscape. After an initialdesign consultation, we recommended harvesting roof water that was going to the storm drain, and instead route it through underground drain pipe to a dry creek bed to feed the soil. In addition to the water harvesting feature, our team installed decomposed granite pathways, mulched planting areas, and efficient drip line irrigation.

Conversion of grass side yard to drought tolerant plantings and rainwater harvesting feature. Installation of sloping decomposed granite (DG) pathway, boulder installation, mulch and rainwater downspout connection to dry creek bed.
